The license plates are in different locations. This makes the vehicles COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

Can we see it on a non spoiler'd Camaro?

The natural line on a Camaro trunk is downward in the middle (looks like a telephone pole fell on it). Personally I don't see the lines as matching up all that well sans spoiler.

If you are saying it has a greenhouse, mirrors, and a trunk. Yes.

The funny thing is that if you compare the Camaro rear to a pre-2009 Mustang (Camaro launched in 2010) it looks pretty similar. So you are saying that the new Mustang looks like a car that wasn't dissimilar to a...uh...Mustang.

I guess so, because the roofline on the new Mustang reminds of the roofline of the original Mustang fastback far more than the roofline of the 5th gen Camaro.

You all do realise that they have always looked alike???? That'S just the natural "pony-car" line.... If the new mustang wouldn't have some similar lines to the camaro it wouldn't be a Mustang....

actually I love that angle and totally agree and glad of it. I hate fastbacks. Most overdone trend of the 60s.

Though they are perfectly time to come back. We've done the couped sedan, the couped wagon, the couped suv, it was only a matter of time before the couped coupe.

Considering the Mustangs hips originated three years before the Camaro's conception, seems like Chevy stole some styling cues from Ford. The Ford designers are just tying the car back to the early years. The Camaro's inception is directly tied to the Mustang's success. Early Mustang vs. early Camaro:

nobody ever accused anyone of any stealing, just stating looks like. Looks like goes both ways, the new mustang looks like the current camaro or the current camaro looks like the new mustang. Both are valid. There's nothing new under the sun so no reason to worry about who's stealing what.
